• Build and maintain relationships with public-sector System Integrator partners • Understand partners’ business models and sales cycles, and establish relationships with business development, technical, and program teams • Elevate Splunk’s strategic status with partners and drive executive, capture, and technology relationships • Develop go-to-market solutions for partners in FED and SLED markets • Influence end-user requirements • Engage and coordinate with Splunk sales, business development, and capture management teams • Identify relevant System Integrators and develop program-specific value propositions and bid strategies • Drive adoption of Splunk technology and services during program capture phases • Drive adoption of Splunk technology and services in existing and new programs • Understand key existing programs and large contracts held by partners • Negotiate positions on System Integrator teams • Identify opportunities to expand use cases and scope • Manage pipeline reporting for System Integrator opportunities and revenue influenced by assigned partners
• 7+ years of direct or integrator experience within SLED • Understanding of major initiatives and programs that could drive significant revenue for Splunk • Contacts at key System Integrators and IT ecosystem partners • 4+ years of experience and demonstrated success working with major public-sector integrators in sales and business development • Experience with program capture and delivering revenue on SLED software programs • Demonstrated success winning multi-million-dollar large SLED programs, ideally SaaS/software solutions • Ability to travel 30%+ • Must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Preferred: 10+ years of direct or integrator experience within SLED • Preferred: 5+ years working with major public-sector integrators in sales and business development • Preferred: 3+ years partnering with Accenture and/or Deloitte • Strong business insight and negotiation abilities • Executive presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work across organizations and structure new approaches to pursue and close opportunities • Consistent overachievement of sales goals • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience
