📋 Description

• Automate Linux host lifecycle management, including configuration, patching, and image creation • Migrate Ansible components from the existing monorepo into isolated, purpose-built repositories • Debug complex production issues across OS, performance, and service layers • Design, build, and improve infrastructure tooling • Partner with security and compliance teams to embed FedRAMP requirements into infrastructure-as-code • Lead workload transitions to Kubernetes clusters by optimizing container base images and host configurations • Own the reliability of critical infrastructure end to end • Support the Linux SRE team responsible for OS configuration, automation, base images, and infrastructure across 6,000+ servers • Drive infrastructure modernization from legacy management to scalable automation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in STEM and 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent related work experience • 5+ years of experience working with Linux in a production environment • Experience with Python or Ruby for infrastructure automation and scripting • Experience with Ansible for configuration management at scale • Experience debugging complex system issues across OS, performance, and service layers • Must be a U.S. Person as defined in the posting • Some work may require U.S. citizenship and performance on U.S. soil • Preferred: experience with Kubernetes cluster management and Docker • Preferred: knowledge of Go or C • Preferred: familiarity with FedRAMP or NIST • Preferred: ability to lead technical projects from ambiguous requirements to production
