📋 Description

• Manage the non-desktop research computing infrastructure in the division and other divisions as assigned • Develop standards, policies, and procedures for enterprise servers, storage, and databases • Support the Director of Research Computing in strategic planning for non-desktop computing infrastructure • Anticipate and prepare for personnel turnover and organize the group to meet changing environmental demands • Plan, schedule, and manage multiple projects requiring information system resources • Monitor project schedule and budget adherence • Provide quality-control oversight on projects • Compile statistics to predict future performance • Plan and coordinate department moves • Acquire tools and equipment to facilitate job performance • Supervise Windows server administration, Linux server administration, data storage and backup, and server administration • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Science or related field and ten years’ experience in IT related position OR Associate’s degree and twelve years of experience in IT-related position OR Master’s degree in information systems, Science or related field and seven years of experience in IT-related position • Five years of managerial experience in an IT group such as general hardware and software management in a production scientific or corporate environment • Experience in deploying services in cloud only and/or hybrid cloud environments • Must reside in Ohio, Florida, or Nevada • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required • Successful controlled-substance testing after employment offer • Compliance with annual influenza vaccination program or approved exemption
