📋 Description

• Build ClickHouse's global workplace function from scratch • Design workplace policies, standards, playbooks, and scalable operating processes • Oversee day-to-day operations for small offices across multiple regions • Develop a remote-first, in-person-enabled workplace strategy • Lead site selection, buildout, and launch of new small offices • Manage vendors including brokers, landlords, building management, facilities, food and beverage, and events • Partner with Procurement on sourcing and contract negotiation • Collaborate with People, IT, Security, and Finance on space planning, onboarding logistics, workplace technology, and capacity planning • Own the global workplace budget, track regional spending, and optimize costs • Create policies for health and safety, visitor management, workplace security, and office access • Support company gatherings and events • Serve as the primary contact for office-related issues and emergencies across regions and time zones • Report to the Head of Procurement

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in workplace, facilities, corporate real estate, or global office operations • Experience building a workplace function or program from the ground up • Experience supporting a globally distributed organization with multiple small offices across regions • Understanding of operational and regulatory differences across regions • Enthusiasm for remote-first ways of working and appreciation for in-person environments • Strong vendor management and contract negotiation experience • Experience managing a budget and finding operational efficiencies • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with People, IT, Security, and Finance • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating autonomously with limited existing infrastructure • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Cultural fluency across regions, time zones, and languages • Based in the Americas or EMEA, with flexibility to travel to regional offices • Experience negotiating international leases or managing office buildouts outside the home country is a plus • Familiarity with health, safety, and workplace compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions is a plus • Experience designing workplace programs for hybrid or remote-first organizations is a plus
