• Manage the loan process from origination through closing • Ensure documentation accuracy and completeness and resolve documentation exceptions • Input financial information into the loan system and update financial statements • Prepare files for portfolio review • Maintain prospect lists and run reports tracking maturing lines and loans • Monitor past-due accounts and ensure communication and follow-up • Provide sales support and identify sales and cross-sell opportunities • Coordinate presentation materials and assist with scheduling sales calls • Handle daily routine tasks, ad-hoc requests and CRM management • Keep the lender on track and ensure timely completion of requests and requirements • Coordinate opening deposit and other banking services with branch and deposit operations partners • Build internal relationships for quick turnaround times • Serve as the primary resource for borrowers and respond to inquiries or issues • Support the lender with administrative tasks, reporting and HR-related matters • Commit to environmental, social, economic and racial justice • Complete mandatory compliance and IT training and follow bank policies, procedures and regulations • Question suspicious activity and collaborate to help prevent fraud
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent education and formal training paired with strong accounting and math skills is a strong plus • Prior experience supporting commercial bankers • Strong accounting and math skills • Deep understanding of banking and commercial lending • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and compliance • Ability to learn new tools quickly and leverage technology for efficiency • Valid U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship is not offered • Must affirm being a non-smoker or affirm commitment to cessation within 90 days of offer acceptance • Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends as needed • Completion of cognitive and personality assessments • Credit and background checks before the final interview • References from former mentors and managers • Ability to sustain standing and sitting, communicate frequently, use a PC, type or maintain sustained monitor attention, and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
