📋 Description

• Provide business value and technical sales support for assigned VoIP/telephony opportunities • Collaborate with Sales to articulate Clio Cloud communication capabilities and App Ecosystem integration partners • Understand the competitive landscape, differentiation, migration services, and industry best practices • Lead and own technical deal strategy, including VoIP scoping, number porting complexity, network readiness, hardware requirements, and multi-office or high-volume routing • Strategize with Sales to create business value, drive urgency, and contribute to revenue goals • Enable Sales to deliver targeted, business-value-driven VoIP/telephony demonstrations and meetings • Guide prospects and customers through VoIP migration planning, porting timelines, cutover sequencing, carrier considerations, and hardware provisioning • Serve as a resource on telecom regulatory and compliance topics relevant to presales conversations, directing customers to Legal/Compliance for definitive answers • Monitor industry news, AI tools, technology products, platforms, partners, and the UCaaS/VoIP competitive landscape • Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to collect, document, communicate, and influence product roadmap based on market and customer requirements • Support the full sales cycle from technical scoping and solution architecture through handoff to Customer Success

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working as a Solutions Engineer (or other relevant experience) for a SaaS provider • Working knowledge of VoIP/telephony fundamentals, including SIP, codecs, call routing, number porting, bandwidth, latency, and jitter • Proven track record of success as a creative problem solver • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to translate telephony/network concepts into plain-language business value • Ability to deliver technical sales presentations, product positioning, and objection handling • Ability to address questions about call quality, network readiness, hardware compatibility, and migration risk • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including IT/technical contacts • Strong technical experience and understanding of cloud technologies, including APIs and security infrastructure • Direct experience with VoIP, UCaaS, or telephony platforms is a bonus • Hands-on experience with number porting, SIP trunking, or desk phone/hardware provisioning is a bonus • Familiarity with E911, STIR/SHAKEN, or 10DLC registration is a bonus • Exposure to CCaaS/contact center concepts is a bonus • Familiarity with open-source telephony platforms or softswitch/PBX architectures is a bonus • Keen interest in improving craft using AI
