• Engage strategically with customers’ business and IT decision-makers as a trusted advisor • Develop CSG technology roadmaps aligned with customers’ business and IT goals • Identify opportunities to increase value creation, customer consumption, and adoption • Provide technical expertise supporting sales execution and develop value propositions • Build trusted relationships with customers, technical stakeholders, decision-makers, partners, and team members • Understand customers’ changing environments and create strategic plans • Provide technical thought leadership and articulate industry trends and insights • Orchestrate technical engagement and resources across technologies and compatibility factors • Overcome technical and competitive objections during technical evaluations • Assess product applications, demonstrate solution value, and minimize churn • Conduct remote and onsite product demonstrations and technical presentations • Collaborate with Customer Success and internal stakeholders to drive adoption and consumption • Build complex, multi-product proof-of-concept solutions • Manage licensing and product concerns with senior leaders and subject-matter experts • Conduct case reviews and proactively address customer issues • Maintain Salesforce records of customer interactions, use cases, technical strategy, and projects • Serve as an external spokesperson and evangelist for the company’s vision and technologies • Update Sales and Sales Engineering management on assigned accounts • Communicate effectively with executives, customers, and prospects • Contribute to go-to-market strategies and initiatives beyond assigned accounts • Mentor and lead other ATS professionals • Collaborate across sales, product development, and marketing • Drive strategic initiatives, product development, and GTM direction • Support customers in maximizing value from technology investments • Drive revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and new business development
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required • 10+ years of technical customer service experience in high-tech, indirect sales, and/or procurement environments • Record of success in driving customer adoption of technology • Ability to travel to customer sites, corporate offices, and events • Understanding of CSG’s competitive domain and technologies • Broad understanding of DaaS / VDI, Applications, Enterprise Browser, Enterprise Mobility Management, Networking, Enterprise Security, Data Management, and Data Analytics • Passion for technology and innovation, and a proven “forward thinker” • Strong understanding of business processes and their implementation into enterprise applications • Analytical and negotiation skills, particularly at the C-level • Ability to explain technological and business concepts clearly • Ability to evaluate and develop teams while mentoring and inspiring team members • Track record of delivering revenue numbers and supporting accurate forecasts • Ability to work independently with limited oversight • Ability to prioritize and manage diverse tasks, objectives, and risks • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills • High level of specialized sales and product solution knowledge
