📋 Description

• Lead customer engagements by designing and presenting scalable, cloud-native data engineering architectures and business outcomes • Provide domain expertise throughout the sales cycle, supporting PoCs, solution sizing, and customer adoption • Focus on data preparation, CDC, streaming use cases, and AI readiness • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in data pipelines • Guide and lead escalations to ensure customer success • Drive internal and external technical enablement through exploration of cloud-native streaming and batch technologies • Develop educational materials and share best practices • Influence the product roadmap by translating customer feedback and EMEA-specific requirements into actionable insights • Participate in community activities and speak at events as a Cloudera evangelist • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams on customer success and product vision

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading and implementing mission-critical data use cases in industries such as Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare, and Public Sector • Proven experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise-grade data engineering pipelines and real-time streaming solutions on modern, cloud-native data architectures • Hands-on expertise with Apache Spark, Airflow, Apache NiFi, Apache Flink, and Apache Kafka • Strong background architecting production data deployments across hybrid and multi-cloud environments • Expertise in data preparation, Change Data Capture (CDC), and data ingestion at massive scale • Demonstrated ability to run Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and MVPs leading to enterprise-grade production deployments • Practical experience designing and implementing data-intensive use cases, including security, data quality, and governance challenges • Exceptional presentation skills engaging audiences from data engineers to senior executives • Ability to analyze customer data workloads and define technical migration or modernization roadmaps • This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship • Bonus: Prior pre-sales or technical consulting experience focused on big data and AI platform solutions • Bonus: Experience with Confluent, Databricks, AWS EMR/Glue, DataOps, CI/CD, automated data quality frameworks, open-source software, Cloudera CDE/CDF/SDX, relevant technical certifications, Apache Iceberg, Kubernetes, and AI/ML data engineering prerequisites
