📋 Description

• Analyze, design, and develop cutting-edge software for Provider Data Management • Develop new data services and tools enabling core product capabilities • Develop and test cloud-native, large-scale, scalable, distributed, highly available data pipelines for multi-tenant systems • Partner with peers to make quality design and engineering decisions • Utilize AI tools to accelerate engineering • Own the full software development lifecycle for database components, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment • Evaluate new technology solutions, innovation, evolution, and trade-offs • Participate in R&D, proof of concepts, prototyping, and code reviews • Ensure software products meet operational, security, and other non-functional requirements • Handle and maintain multiple work tracks in parallel • Work across multiple time zones with a global cross-functional engineering team • May require travel based on company needs

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of extensive experience with data modeling and data management principles • Strong knowledge of a database platform such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar • Ability to develop advanced SQL scripts, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and constraints • Very good experience in procedural programming with Python • Linux shell scripting experience • Preferred: Ability to work with Airflow, including building and debugging DAGs • Preferred: AWS or another major cloud provider experience • Database performance tuning experience • Strong analytical and logical skills • Experience working with Agile/Scrum development processes • Nice to have: Healthcare domain experience, preferably provider data expertise and familiarity with HL7 or FHIR data models • Nice to have: Java backend experience • Candidates may be required to complete a pre-employment criminal background check
