📋 Description

• Own the technical sales process from introductory meetings through post-sales • Support customers' technical needs and discover new use cases for Cloudera technology • Design customer solutions using Cloudera technologies, reference architectures, and common patterns • Demonstrate Cloudera products to inspire customer adoption • Partner with Account Managers to communicate solution value and drive successful sales • Present product roadmap and vision • Interface with Cloudera teams to ensure a consistent customer experience • Advocate for customer needs to Product Management and Engineering • Participate in external publicity and evangelism through conferences, meetups, webinars, and blogs • Align achievements with team sales targets and participate in knowledge exchange with peers and the wider community

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience • Minimum of 8 years of professional work experience in a pre-sales customer-facing role • Experience acting as a co-seller selling solutions to business leaders and technical champions in the enterprise • Passion for using technology to make a difference to people and organizations • Ability to create and give technical presentations and demonstrations • Experience with Big Data, Data Warehousing or Relational Databases • Experience with one or more major cloud service providers: AWS, Azure or GCP • Experience with Data Engineering, Data Science or Machine Learning • Experience with Operations, Security and Data Governance within the enterprise • Experience with Unix or Linux • Experience gathering and understanding customer business requirements • Excellent written and verbal communication • Problem solving skills • Willingness to learn, curiosity to discover, and drive to make customers successful • This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
