📋 Description

• Lead discovery conversations and determine what should be built for client engagements • Build, integrate, and ship systems end to end into client production environments on time and at quality • Serve as the technical owner of a Praxent engagement • Translate executive business problems into defensible technical architectures • Choose and defend architecture patterns, integrations, and tradeoffs • Guide Forward Deployed Engineers and review their work • Deliver production-grade evaluations, guardrails, observability, and documentation • Work embedded with clients alongside Praxent Architects, Product Managers, and client engineers and decision-makers • Set engineering standards and make difficult technical decisions • Lead work within compliance, risk review, legacy-system, audit, and explainability constraints

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years shipping production software • Hands-on delivery of LLM and agentic systems, including RAG, agent frameworks, vector stores, evaluation, and monitoring • Client leadership experience, including leading discovery meetings and making difficult scoping decisions • Executive presence and ability to inspire confidence in solutions • Hands-on full-stack production software experience • Python experience; .NET or Node acceptable substitutes • React or Next.js front-end experience • Depth across the stack and a major cloud • Architecture judgment under real constraints • Experience integrating AI with legacy and governed systems • Ability to lead a small engineering team • Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders • Experience in banking, lending, or payments strongly preferred • Experience working directly with risk and compliance partners preferred • Experience getting AI through model-risk or security review in a regulated organization preferred • Currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
