• Execute the field sales strategy for a specific Comfort Medical region to accomplish Coloplast Direct business goals in the US • Recruit, coach, develop, and manage Comfort Medical field sales representatives • Contribute to the evolution of regional coverage, sales execution, and internal collaboration • Provide input on incentive plans, communication frameworks, and execution tactics • Drive regional sales results, KPIs, sales targets, and quotas • Monitor account performance and redirect efforts when goals are not met • Champion change efforts to increase sales effectiveness • Translate business strategies into objectives and tactics • Create plans covering budget, staffing, and account responsibilities • Manage top-line sales and bottom-line profit responsibility, including operating income and expenses • Prepare and follow up on sales forecasts, budgets, and operating costs • Develop contingency plans and implement efficient procedures • Review and update sales databases including Salesforce.com, Bright Tree, and Power BI • Recommend sales quotas for representatives • Staff teams with competent, experienced, and ethical employees • Align resources with strategic objectives • Provide tools, support, leadership, performance monitoring, feedback, coaching, and disciplinary action as needed • Ensure compliance with PHI and applicable laws, rules, and regulations • Set challenging goals, recognize performance, and hold the team accountable • Liaise between the sales force and sales operations, training, and other organizational functions • Influence upper-management decisions and develop win-win solutions • Build customer loyalty and strategic relationships with key customers and employees • Identify strategic business opportunities • Respond to customer issues and improve customer service • Perform other duties as assigned
• BA or BS or higher degree • 5+ years successful DME sales experience OR 2+ years of medical sales management experience with proven success and 3+ years general med tech sales experience • Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight — 60%–75% • Lives within the sales region or in reasonable vicinity of region • Valid driver’s license • Ability to positively coach sales teams in a complex and highly competitive market • Ability to adapt and willingness to change • Strong business acumen and analytical skills • Reporting, strategic planning and project management skills at account and regional level • Ability to build strong product, reimbursement, and service knowledge • Knowledge of current and new industry trends, technologies, competitors and place in the market • Pro-active; quick to respond, and oriented toward high-performance and results • Ability to consistently work, manage and lead with ethical integrity following applicable laws and policies • Ability to nurture relationships with internal and external customers by consultative methods • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate and advocate • Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and CRM databases
