📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across multiple functions • Partner with leaders to solve complex people challenges and align talent strategies with ministry priorities • Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent development, compensation, employee relations, succession planning, and change management • Coach managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, discipline, performance management, staff development, termination, compensation, succession planning, benefits, and talent acquisition • Educate employees on employee-manager interactions, conflict resolution, performance management, compensation, and benefits • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and recommend necessary practice or program changes • Investigate employee and stakeholder concerns involving performance management, harassment, discrimination, misconduct, and similar matters • Analyze engagement through HR metrics and assessment instruments and implement interventions to address barriers to team success • Coordinate annual merit, performance management, benefits enrollment, and new employee orientation programs • Facilitate team-building, merit program, strategic planning, brainstorming, and other group sessions • Coach and provide expertise to HR professionals and support staff • Advocate for children’s needs, prioritize child protection, report concerns, and support incident responses • Maintain a Christ-like attitude, uphold Compassion’s ministry in prayer, and engage in core Cultural Behaviors

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred • Seven+ years of relevant experience working in a Human Resources business partner or similar role • Ability to quickly establish trust and credibility with senior leaders and stakeholders across multiple functions • Experience influencing decisions, facilitating strategic discussions, and providing constructive challenge to leaders on complex organizational and people-related matters • Experience leading or supporting organizational change initiatives, including change management, organizational design, and navigating ambiguity in evolving environments • Ability to operate effectively at strategic and operational levels, translating business needs into actionable solutions while managing multiple priorities • Proficiency leveraging AI-enabled tools and technology to improve effectiveness • Demonstrated spiritual maturity and alignment with Compassion’s Christian mission and values • Personal relationship with Jesus Christ • Commitment to child protection expectations and Code of Conduct • Uphold Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors
