• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across multiple functions • Partner with leaders to solve complex people challenges and align talent strategies with ministry priorities • Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent development, compensation, employee relations, succession planning, and change management • Coach managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, discipline, performance management, staff development, termination, compensation, succession planning, benefits, and talent acquisition • Educate employees on employee-manager interactions, conflict resolution, performance management, compensation, and benefits • Ensure compliance with local and national employment laws and regulations • Investigate employee and stakeholder concerns involving performance management, harassment, discrimination, misconduct, and related matters • Analyze engagement through HR metrics and assessment instruments • Recommend and implement programs and interventions to improve team success • Coordinate annual merit, performance management, benefits enrollment, and new employee orientation programs • Facilitate team-building, merit program, strategic planning, brainstorming, and other group sessions • Coach and provide expertise to HR professionals and support staff • Advocate for children’s needs and uphold child protection requirements and Compassion’s cultural behaviors
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred • Seven+ years relevant experience working in a Human Resources business partner or similar role • Demonstrated ability to quickly establish trust and credibility with senior leaders and stakeholders across multiple functions • Proven experience influencing decisions, facilitating strategic discussions, and providing constructive challenge to leaders on complex organizational and people-related matters • Experience leading or supporting organizational change initiatives, including change management, organizational design, and navigating ambiguity in evolving environments • Ability to operate effectively at both the strategic and operational levels, translating business needs into actionable solutions while managing multiple priorities • Proficiency leveraging AI-enabled tools and technology to improve effectiveness • Demonstrated spiritual maturity and alignment with Compassion's Christian mission and values • Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ • Consistently witness for Jesus Christ and uphold Compassion’s ministry in prayer • Commit to child protection considerations and abide by Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct
