âą Oversee recruiting and people operations across Movement Strategy and Newfangled Studios âą Report to the Director of People and collaborate with hiring managers, department leads, and leadership teams âą Run full-cycle recruiting across both agencies, including intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers, and closing âą Define creative excellence with hiring managers through scorecards, interview plans, and panel design âą Source for creative, strategy, paid media, and account roles âą Build recurring-role talent pipelines âą Evaluate portfolios, books, and reels fairly âą Manage recruiting operations in Greenhouse, including data hygiene, stage integrity, and reporting âą Maintain a structured, consistent, defensible, and equitable recruiting process âą Draft, update, and maintain policies and employee handbooks for two operating companies âą Maintain multi-state employment compliance, including wage and hour, classification, notices, and postings âą Administer leaves and accommodations end to end, including the interactive process and documentation âą Manage employee lifecycle processes from onboarding through status changes, offboarding, and records âą Support performance and engagement cycles, including reviews and surveys âą Build and improve people processes âą Serve as internal DEI thought partner alongside the fractional DEI partner âą Embed inclusive practices into hiring and policy âą Ensure equitable access to development, opportunity, and recognition
âą Full-cycle recruiting experience in an agency, creative, or media environment âą Experience recruiting for roles where portfolio, book, or reel matters as much as resume âą Comfort sourcing and engaging passive candidates in creative and social spaces âą Fluency with an ATS; Greenhouse or comparable systems âą Working knowledge of multi-state employment law âą Demonstrated policy writing âą Experience administering leaves and accommodations, including the interactive process âą Fluency with an HRIS; Rippling and Lattice or comparable systems âą 6+ years across HR and recruiting, with real depth on both sides âą Comfort working in an agency environment where priorities shift âą Current, substantive point of view on DEI in practice âą Experience partnering with external advisors or consultants on DEI âą High energy, curiosity, confidence, and tenacity âą Ability to communicate quickly and accurately, think quickly or improvise, and present confidently âą Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information âą Ability to balance recruiting urgency with policy and compliance precision âą Nimble self-starter able to adjust to changing internal and external teams âą Proactive curiosity about the digital and social space âą Track record of building relationships, leading teams, influencing others, and navigating culture across two agencies âą Diverse and inclusive perspective that can be translated into concrete changes âą Unmatched attention to detail, especially for compliance, offer letters, and employment records
