📋 Description

• Manage a defined sales territory and drive growth of CooperVision’s contact lens portfolio • Build and maintain relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, practice managers, and office staff • Provide product education, increase product adoption, and grow market share • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Professional Affairs, Customer Service, and Operations teams • Penetrate new accounts and grow sales in the Rockford, Illinois territory • Build professional sales relationships with assigned customers across all distribution channels • Meet and exceed territory sales quotas • Manage time effectively across all stages of the sales funnel • Maintain a territory call cycle with approximately 5–7 preset appointments per workday • Return customer phone and email inquiries within 24 hours • Use a consultative sales approach to understand customer businesses, assess needs, and profile accounts • Formulate and execute territory call cycle plans and prepare account business plans with the Regional Director • Develop new business within the geographic territory • Maintain technical proficiency with CooperVision and competitive products • Monitor industry trends and Health Product Research data • Educate customers on CooperVision’s product suite and make business-growth recommendations • Sell value-added products and services to customer offices • Develop customer marketing plans and promotions and monitor return on investment • Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Analyze product, account sales, and territory growth using CRM tools and reports • Participate in state and regional optical shows when requested • Submit call, expense, ROI, and other administrative reports on time • Manage diagnostic contact lens sets at customer locations • Travel within the territory approximately 80% of the time • Travel outside the territory 10–15% for conferences, site trainings, and regional meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to work independently • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to anticipate, understand, prioritize, and meet customer needs • Ability to adapt to a changing work environment and various situations, individuals, and groups daily • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Ability to identify, evaluate, and assimilate information to render quality decisions • Ability to make presentations to various sized customer groups • Proficiency with MS Suite • Experience with CRM systems including Salesforce, Tableau, and Showpad • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs while installing, removing, and transporting diagnostic contact lens sets • 4+ years of B2B sales experience in any industry • Tangible product sales experience desirable • Experience exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly goals • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of direct related experience (high school + 8 years or similar) • Successful background check, which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction history, educational, and motor vehicle records • Valid driver’s license, minimum insurance coverage, and satisfactory driving record as required by the company
