📋 Description

• Provide architectural guidance across engineering teams to ensure clean service integration and prevent technical debt • Lead the design and delivery of AI-augmented capabilities that improve auditor effectiveness, identify issues, and support better decisions • Collaborate across the organization to guide and support implementation of AI technologies and related processes • Produce a current-state platform architecture map within 1 month • Develop a prioritized AI integration roadmap within 2 months • Create a full architectural plan for the application and AI platform within 3 months • Lead, build, and ship an extensible AI-augmented MVP within the first 4 months • Collaborate with product owners, executive leadership, customers, engineering, data science, compliance, security, sales, and operations • Establish and maintain architectural standards, including API contracts, integration patterns, data flow, and security boundaries • Develop and maintain system architecture diagrams • Define reusable shared libraries, APIs, and data contracts • Define AI data governance policies with compliance and security • Evaluate AI tooling and vendors across AWS, Azure, and other options based on capability, cost, vendor lock-in, and operational complexity • Build evaluation and bias-testing methodologies • Recommend AI-enabled improvements to sales and operations processes • Coach engineers and provide technical leadership without initially having direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years architecting SaaS products with cloud-native technologies • Extensive experience in cloud-native design on AWS and/or Azure • Proven track record integrating and building AI into platforms and applications beyond simple API usage • Hands-on familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP), ideally with implementation experience • Hands-on experience with packaged agent runtimes such as Bedrock AgentCore or Azure AI Foundry • Experience designing logically multi-tenant SaaS platforms • Strong software fundamentals and ongoing learning of emerging AI patterns and protocols • Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at the appropriate technical level • Sound judgment around extensibility, security, and deployment standards • Ability to move quickly, make decisive choices, and unite engineers • Nice to have: systems and storage architecture across multiple integrated platforms • Nice to have: healthcare or other regulated, high-compliance environment experience • Nice to have: experience standing up platforms for internal development teams
