📋 Description

• Manage and grow a portfolio of dealer clients across North Alabama and the Tennessee/Mississippi border • Optimize clients’ use of lines of credit ranging from $50,000 to $2,500,000 • Act as a floor plan subject matter expert for assigned clients • Engage clients in person or virtually to achieve company goals and performance targets • Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue, maximize profitability, control growth, and mitigate risk • Educate and coach clients on performance behaviors, self-service options, best practices, policies, and expectations • Collect and analyze client financial information, reports, and dashboards • Identify growth opportunities and clients experiencing financial distress using historical data and company tools • Collaborate with Risk and Recovery on pre-default risk mitigation and post-default collection efforts • Minimize loss and maximize recovery on defaulted accounts • Conduct physical inventory inspections, audits, repossessions, and quality-control activities as necessary • Identify and report client or internal non-compliance, fraud, and other circumstances requiring company protection • Document conversations, activities, and client interactions in Salesforce • Complete required Salesforce campaigns • Onboard new clients and ensure a positive client experience • Cultivate Cox Automotive cross-functional business relationships and opportunities • Travel to visit clients at least 60% of the time, with occasional overnight travel

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS with 4+ years related experience in finance, client facing, B2B, account management and/or collections • Alternatively, a combination of a Master's degree and 2+ years of experience, or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree • Automotive and/or floorplan industry background strongly preferred • Financial knowledge and acumen preferred • Knowledge of the automotive industry • Knowledge of the finance industry • Proficiency reading and analyzing profit & loss statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and bank statements preferred • Strong financial acumen with working knowledge of key financial tools and terminology • Ability to identify risk indicators through data tools • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal, time management, negotiation, collection, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and in a remote environment • Ability to maintain safety awareness and take necessary safety precautions • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Salesforce • Ability to visit clients at least 60% of the time, with occasional overnight travel • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods • Valid driver’s license required • Must pass a pre-employment drug test • Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in the future
