📋 Description

• Serve as the primary scientific and technical solution lead presenting Cradle’s AI-guided protein discovery and optimization platform and services • Partner with Account Executives and Go-To-Market teammates throughout the buying journey • Stay current on Cradle’s technical capabilities and proof points • Provide feedback to product and technical teams to improve demos and offerings • Own and manage scientific and technical discovery of customers’ landscapes, projects, capabilities, and challenges • Understand customers’ protein-engineering workflows and research objectives • Develop presentations and deliver demonstrations addressing customer challenges and differentiating Cradle from competitors • Manage customer questions and objections while establishing credibility and trust • Attend relevant industry conferences and represent Cradle to scientific and technical audiences • Bring field insights to product teams and influence the product roadmap • Develop solutions, assets, and content for customers and internal teams • Mentor and partner with other Scientific Solutions Consultants • Represent Cradle’s mission and values

🎯 Requirements

• Scientific academic degree (MS, PhD) in biology or biochemistry, such as structural or molecular biology, bioinformatics, pharmaceutical sciences, biochemical engineering, or another related field • Minimum 2 years of professional experience post-degree • Experience in a solution consultant-type role and/or related customer-facing roles preferred • Experience with scientific/informatics software such as LIMS or ELN helpful • Experience demonstrating technical solutions to research and computational scientists helpful • Ability to quickly understand wet-lab experimental workflows relevant to enzyme and therapeutic protein design • Hands-on experience designing and executing varied high-throughput wet-lab experimental workflows is a plus • Experience with computational protein design, potentially involving AI/ML techniques, helpful • Strong foundation in life sciences R&D • Familiarity with research scientists’ and computational biologists’ experiences and tools • Excellent communication skills • Able and willing to travel 20–40%, including international travel • Passport required
