📋 Description

• Manage the end-to-end RFP process and ensure timely, accurate, high-quality proposal submissions • Use quoting platforms and tools to pull rates and benefit information and format data into proposals • Work with carrier partners to request and secure underwritten quotes, manage follow-ups, and interpret quoting nuances • Serve as a subject-matter expert for internal and external teams on quoting, carrier options, and benefit comparisons • Resolve escalated or complex quoting issues • Create, format, and maintain proposal documents aligned with branding, compliance, and regulatory standards • Collaborate with sales team members to understand client needs and customize proposal content • Compile, analyze, and present benefit data and pricing structures • Prioritize and manage multiple proposals in high-volume, deadline-driven situations • Create and update spreadsheets with detailed benefit information • Pull and organize Summary of Benefits and Coverage documents • Assemble branded benefit booklets and sales packets • Maintain Salesforce CRM accuracy, update documents, track opportunities, and ensure data integrity • Respond to sales support requests • Prepare client-facing presentations, internal sales documents, and communications • Organize, version-control, and maintain proposal and sales process documentation • Leverage CRM and quoting tools to improve sales process efficiency and visibility

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a proposal development, quoting, or sales support role, preferably within insurance, employee benefits, or a related industry • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex data sets, rate models, and comparative visuals • Experience working within quoting systems and proposal generation tools • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM or equivalent platforms • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and customer service • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently, with focus on deadlines and quality • Strong attention to detail and organizational discipline • Experience in group insurance or employee benefits, including quoting procedures, carrier platforms, and underwriting practices (preferred) • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (preferred) • Experience training or mentoring junior sales support staff (preferred) • Participation in process improvement or technology enhancement initiatives (preferred) • English language fluency required • Ability to work the 1st shift in the United States of America
