📋 Description

• Serve as a liaison between the organization’s internal and external clients • Oversee and participate directly in the loan process from start to finish • Communicate with borrowers about loan programs, costs, and applicable loan documents • Review and audit income, assets, credit documentation, and mortgage files • Run DU and verify credit documentation to ensure loan stability • Review and deliver mortgage loan disclosure and re-disclosure packages • Assist in managing a pipeline of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203k, Jumbo, and reverse mortgage loans • Structure loans to identify the best program based on borrowers’ financial circumstances • Review files for missing documentation supporting loan approval • Pre-underwrite paystubs, credit reports, W2s, bank statements, court orders, and other items • Input disclosure feeds and set up loans to fit borrowers’ needs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education/experience • 3–5 years of residential mortgage processing experience • Experience with Encompass LOS preferred • Prior underwriting or processing experience a plus • Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and mortgage and consumer regulations • Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows • Excellent math and analytics skills • Excellent communication skills • Excellent prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines • License required for communicating loan programs and costs with borrowers
