📋 Description

• Complete and oversee complex systems analysis, design, and development efforts • Serve as a leader and individual contributor on complex projects • Provide analytical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing information technology uses supporting business goals and strategic objectives • Direct and monitor less experienced resources and coordinate development tasks for projects of any scope • Prepare and manage technical components of project plans • Confer with Development, operations, and Technology staff on systems development direction from technical analysis through user acceptance testing • Prepare and review test data; execute detailed test plans and complete debugging • Evaluate complex interrelationships and effects among programs, interfacing applications, and platforms • Prepare and review technical and functional specifications; update systems documentation • Prepare charts, tables, and diagrams for problem analysis; review documentation from less experienced staff • Prepare and review assessments covering tasks, time frames, and effort • Maintain efficient operation and effectiveness of supported applications • Recommend technology, policies, and processes; lead or participate in vendor software evaluations • Follow and promote development standards and procedures • Maintain technical aptitude and expert working knowledge of applications, development environments, and client environment • Assist with expense and capital budgets • Monitor employee performance and may prepare annual appraisals • Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, policies, controls, and the Company's Risk Appetite; identify issues requiring escalation • Promote diversity and reflect the Bank brand • Maintain internal control standards and implement audit and regulatory findings • Complete related duties or projects, including due diligence, cost/benefit analyses, or business studies • Work under Technology management supervision while independently handling high-level systems analysis and technical development phases • Manage activities of others and lead project activities • Monitor staff performance and participate in developing less experienced staff • Interact with senior management, technology personnel, clients, and vendors • Provide backup to higher management and serve as a technical representative on committees or ad-hoc projects

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of an Associates degree and 6 years systems analysis/application development experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 8 years higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 6 years systems analysis/application development experience • Familiar with application development software and hardware platforms • Proficiency with personal computers, pertinent project management software, word processing software, and spreadsheet software • Capable of working on multiple projects of a complex nature • Excellent problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with prior experience presenting to the target audience • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Detail-oriented • Strong lateral thinking skills • Experience coordinating between Applications and business units • Experience recommending and implementing system solutions • Experience driving project milestones and delivery dates • Proven mentoring and leadership capabilities from a project management perspective • Good understanding of the Bank's application framework • Subject matter expertise in business with knowledge or experience utilizing the supported application/system • Mastered understanding of supported applications with advanced knowledge of interfacing/integrated applications • Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously • Ability to multitask across various components of complex projects • Mastered knowledge and focus of the entire system to work on projects outside normal business-as-usual (BAU)
