📋 Description

• Build and lead strategic relationships with key influencer customers, including architects, engineers, contractors, OEMs, dealers, and channel partners • Set and execute the influencer strategy • Serve as the technical subject matter expert, providing code, standards, and solution guidance • Identify customer needs and market opportunities using customer insights, market trends, and competitor research • Manage opportunity flow and rigor, including identifying, reporting, tracking in Salesforce, and passing opportunities to sales owners • Create and maintain key influencer account strategies • Measure customer perception, team credibility, and influence impact • Act as an industry thought leader and customer advocate • Share market insights internally and represent the company externally • Align influence activities with sales plans, margin, and market share • Build relationships with Consulting Engineers in Upstate New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania markets • Communicate with leadership, Northern Region SAE/UI Team peers, and local Power Generation Sales Representatives • Document project and relationship management/tracking in Salesforce • Develop and execute account/territory-level sales strategies • Manage and assess sales pipelines • Gather customer data, analyze historical data, and develop sales forecasts

🎯 Requirements

• University or college degree in the field of engineering, or an acceptable combination of education and experience • Significant level of relevant work experience required • Experience in technical sales, application engineering or project management required • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations • 4+ years of experience in technical sales, application engineering or project management desirable • Technical aptitude to quickly ramp up on the products responsible for selling • Ability to execute technical presentations with external customers and internal sales teams • This person can be based in NY, NJ, or PA
