📋 Description

• Help teams building advanced defense systems choose their future software architecture • Explain RTI technology to executives, architects, program managers and developers • Develop Proof-of-Concept prototypes and demonstrations with prospects • Develop sales strategies with your account manager teammate • Communicate customer technical requirements to Product Management and engineering to help evolve RTI technology • Join RTI’s active online developer community forum as an RTI and domain expert • Communicate RTI’s technology in published technical articles and speaking engagements • Work directly with customers to solve complex technical challenges in mission-critical, intelligent distributed systems • Engage with advanced programs across defense and other critical industries • Help customers adopt RTI’s software architecture to build reliable, real-time systems

🎯 Requirements

• BS or higher in engineering or computer science, MS preferred • 5+ years in application-facing technical professional services or sales • Experience with one or more of: C/C++/Python/Java/.NET • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong understanding of OS and network concepts (UDP, Multicast, etc.) • Self-motivated sales attitude, comfortable on a team and without day-to-day direction • US Citizenship required • Nice to have: Messaging or high-performance distributed systems • Nice to have: Embedded system experience • Nice to have: JMS, AMQP, MQTT and Web Services • Nice to have: Knowledge about current trends in the A&D Industry
