📋 Description

• Build and lead strategic relationships with key influencer customers, including architects, engineers, contractors, OEMs, dealers, and channel partners • Set and execute the influencer strategy, targeting priority firms and cultivating new firms and individuals • Serve as the technical subject matter expert on codes, standards, and solutions • Identify customer needs and market opportunities using customer insights, market trends, and competitor research • Manage opportunity flow, ensuring opportunities are identified, reported, tracked in Salesforce, and passed to appropriate sales owners • Create and maintain key influencer account strategies and measure customer perception, team credibility, and influence impact • Act as an industry thought leader and customer advocate, sharing market insights internally and representing the company externally • Align influence activities with sales plans, margin, and market share • Develop and execute account and territory-level sales strategies • Assess pipeline size, contents, and progress, adjusting strategies as needed • Gather and analyze customer and historical data to forecast future consumption patterns

🎯 Requirements

• University or college degree in the field of engineering, or an acceptable combination of education and experience • Significant level of relevant work experience required • Experience in technical sales, application engineering or project management required • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations • 4+ years of experience in technical sales or sales application engineering desirable • Technical aptitude to quickly ramp up on the products being sold and supported • Ability to execute technical presentations with external customers and internal sales teams • Responsible for building relationships with Consulting Engineers in the Minnesota and Wisconsin markets • Project and relationship management/tracking documented in Salesforce
