📋 Description

• Establish the cost management program and deliverables for large-scale capital programs • Lead MEP estimating during preconstruction, contractor negotiation, and project close-out • Manage development of project budgets, benchmarking, and cost studies • Prepare quantity take-offs, analyses, estimates, and studies for electrical and mechanical scopes • Integrate third-party plans and cost components into an integrated cost plan • Provide detailed cost risk, issue, and mitigation analysis to project managers, clients, construction managers, engineering teams, and third parties • Drive accruals and forecasting processes, including monthly, biweekly, and weekly reporting as required • Support risk management and facilitate quantitative risk assessments • Develop and lead earned value components of complex manufacturing programs • Support development of project control and project execution plans • Work with senior project managers, clients, and stakeholders on strategic cost plans throughout the project lifecycle • Build, manage, and report cost reports and analyses • Lead and report on project controls activities across complex projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field • 15 or more years of related experience working as a cost management expert on capital projects, including design and construction phases • Electrical and mechanical estimating experience • Ability to interpret complex electrical and mechanical drawings and prepare quantity take-offs • Direct experience working on teams within a complex, matrixed environment • Expertise using Excel • Experience within the construction industry required • Experience with data centers and life science preferred • Additional life sciences experience strongly preferred • Exceptional organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills • Extensive knowledge of regional markets, competition, and industry trends • Negotiation skills with ability to influence and engage stakeholders • Executive-level presentation skills • Experience utilizing NECA or appropriate resources to evaluate labor productivities
