📋 Description

• Acquire new members through inbound and outbound calls • Assess customer needs for products and services using probing questions and listening skills • Service existing members and handle inquiries about product utilization and benefits • Cross-sell ancillary and other applicable products to existing members • Retain existing members • Maintain knowledge of CMS and state regulations • Multitask and use a computer while interacting with prospects and members by phone • Capture relevant information in the CRM system • Meet sales, conversion, cross-sell, contact-time, retention, and member-satisfaction goals • Maintain expert understanding of company products, services, and processes

🎯 Requirements

• 4-year college degree or 1 to 2 years’ experience selling multiple Medicare products, such as Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement • Life & Health insurance license required within 2 attempts and/or 60 days from employment start date • Ability to pass annually: American Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), Continued Education (CEs), Product Certification, Required Security and Compliance, Client/Carrier Certifications, and any required CMS Certifications • Active computer use for daily job activities • Ability to multitask while talking on the phone • Excellent communication and listening skills • Self-starter with positive attitude and ability to control emotions when dealing with unhappy customers • Adaptability to a high-pressure, achievement-oriented environment • High level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office • Ability to quickly perform basic mathematical operations without a calculator • Ability to work 40 hours per week
