📋 Description

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop software engineering teams • Establish performance objectives and conduct performance reviews • Create development plans and succession strategies • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture • Recruit, onboard, and retain engineering talent • Manage team capacity, staffing, workforce planning, contractors, and vendors • Align engineering resources with business priorities and strategic initiatives • Identify skill gaps and address organizational needs • Lead software development throughout the full development lifecycle • Ensure delivery commitments meet quality, security, and operational controls • Monitor execution and manage risks, dependencies, and issues • Support Agile delivery and continuous improvement • Collaborate with Product Owners and Delivery teams to prioritize work and maximize business value • Partner with Architecture teams on enterprise standards and technical direction • Promote coding standards, automation, DevSecOps, and secure software development • Drive improvements in quality, reliability, performance, and operational readiness • Support modernization and technical debt reduction • Build relationships with business and technology partners • Communicate delivery commitments, risks, and outcomes • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and issue resolution • Support planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, or a related technology discipline • 5+ years of experience leading software initiatives or managing software engineering resources, including coaching, performance, staffing, or capacity planning • Experience leading enterprise software delivery through the full software development lifecycle • Experience managing multiple priorities, teams, dependencies, and stakeholders in a complex organization • Experience with Agile software delivery and modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, DevSecOps, source control, automated testing, and production support • Ability to recruit, coach, develop, and retain engineering talent • Strong communication and relationship-management skills, including translating technical concepts for business and executive audiences • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • High school diploma plus 4 years of relevant work experience as an alternative educational pathway
