📋 Description

• Provide technical support for GCP-based applications and services, ensuring high availability and performance • Automate repetitive tasks and processes using Python, Bash, and Infrastructure as Code tools • Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, data encryption, and network security • Monitor and manage virtual machines, containers, databases, and networking components • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools • Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems using Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, or Grafana • Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis • Apply SRE practices involving SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams on application deployment and operation • Create and maintain system architecture, process, and procedure documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions • 3+ years experience with SRE principles and practices, including monitoring, incident management, and performance optimization • 3+ years experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar • 3+ years experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker • 3+ years experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Google Deployment Manager • 3+ years experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or similar • 1 year of professional work experience required for every year of college degree not completed, in addition to required years of experience • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
