📋 Description

• Define and communicate the broader vision and execute IT strategy in alignment with organizational standards • Serve as primary point of contact for architects, application owners, and engineers to define strategy, prioritization, and execution • Establish epics and initiatives aligned with strategic goals and the product roadmap • Develop and maintain roadmaps connecting critical business needs with scalable technical solutions • Leverage performance data to create feedback loops for continuous insight and improvement • Champion product management and agile mindsets by communicating team successes and identifying growth areas • Build and lead high-performing engineering teams addressing complex technical challenges and business-critical problems • Enable a large operational data platform • Lead and inspire engineers and technical leads building a strategic platform for Aetna’s core operational needs • Drive high-impact AI initiatives that improve member and provider experiences and deliver measurable enterprise value

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with data technologies such as MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL • 7+ years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, and Azure • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience • Alternative: High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience • Preferred: 7+ years of experience in software development or architecture and delivering cloud-native data platforms • Preferred: 7+ years of experience with Agile, SAFe Agile, and Product SDLC methodologies • Profound cloud/data technical knowledge • Logical reasoning and problem-solving skills • Strong understanding of software engineering principles
