📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership for customers evaluating and adopting Databricks Data and AI solutions • Consult on big data architecture and implement proofs of concept for strategic customer, data science, and machine learning projects • Validate integrations with cloud services and third-party applications • Build and present reference architectures, technical guides, and demo applications • Provide escalated support for critical customer operational issues • Evangelize Databricks open-source projects across developer communities through meetups, conferences, and webinars • Support fellow Solutions Architects and drive cross-functional relationships • Travel to customers up to 30%

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role • Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems • Programming and debugging proficiency in at least one of Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R • Experience building solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience with data engineering technologies, data warehousing, or data science and machine learning technologies • Comfort communicating through presentations, whiteboarding, architecture discussions, and platform demonstrations • Degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred, not required • Databricks Certification is nice to have
