📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain backend code supporting features used by 5 million users • Develop backend systems in TypeScript • Participate regularly in code reviews and other team functions • Provide technical leadership and help guide the team’s technical direction • Mentor and pair regularly with other engineers • Work with product management and design teams to define feature specifications • Build products using frameworks such as React.js and React Native • Support Martech Squad platforms and integrations powering member reach, engagement, retention, personalized messaging, campaign execution, and lifecycle marketing • Evolve Dave’s marketing website, improving performance, discoverability, and search engine optimization, including AI-driven SEO strategies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Computer Science or related discipline; other majors considered with appropriate related experience and/or training • 4+ years of software engineering experience building full stack applications • Strong CS fundamentals and problem-solving skills • Experience programming in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including JavaScript, Java, Python, C/C++ or Go • Experience using a modern UI framework to build user-focused interfaces • Effective communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to give and receive constructive feedback • Understanding of monitoring and metric tools • Experience working in an Agile development environment • Ability to discuss and explain system architecture and component design • Proven ability to work as part of a team
