• Lead and supervise a team of Analysts • Provide daily direction, mentoring, coaching, performance management, and teammate relations monitoring • Monitor Analyst performance for compliance, quality, production, and effectiveness • Develop learning content, tip sheets, and job aids • Support departmental goals and promote a positive, collaborative culture • Assist with hiring, promotions, performance evaluations, timeclocks/PTO, and disciplinary actions • Conduct annual Performance Development Reviews and career conversations • Maintain teammate records in compliance with policies and applicable laws • Gather sensitive reports, metrics, and communications • Provide updates and recommendations in executive presentations • Measure and evaluate results to direct projects and resources • Pull robust data sets and process maps • Track technology innovations and provide team messaging and training • Lead or participate in special projects • Liaise between data analytics and other departments • Manage projects, resources, priorities, and strategic relationships • Meet tight deadlines in time-sensitive, resource-constrained environments • Perform root cause analysis on large datasets and create detailed reports • Identify and implement revenue-cycle opportunities to grow revenue and improve bottom-line performance • Collaborate with Revenue Operations teams on analysis deep dives, action plans, remediation, and tracking projects • Support insurance and internal partners • Assist with Continuous Quality Improvement projects • Provide frequent status updates to management • Travel up to 5-10%
• Bachelor's degree in a related field of study required • 3-4+ years in analytics • 3+ years of people management experience • Excellent interpersonal skills • Strong leadership, coaching, and teammate development skills • Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Visio, and Teams • Effective training and presentation skills • Excellent written and verbal communication, including active listening and curiosity • Strong stakeholder management skills • Critical thinking, decision-making, and executive presence • Working knowledge of ROPS teams, functions, systems, and processes preferred • Data analysis and/or process innovation and analytical technical skills preferred • Experience with SQL, database development and management, Tableau, Google Cloud, and data visualization • Minimum of three years' healthcare reimbursement experience preferred • Experience with admissions, billing, and collections preferred • Knowledge of insurance rules, regulations, and Coordination of Benefits for federal, state, and managed care payors preferred • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required • Ability to work on computer screens for 8+ hours a day • Ability to lift 5 to 50 lbs unassisted and stand, sit, stoop, walk, stretch, reach, and use full range of body motions • Fluent written and verbal skills necessary to perform the essential functions
