📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines for secure and efficient data ingestion, transformation, and delivery • Develop and optimize data workflows supporting analytics, dashboards, reporting, and enterprise applications • Implement data cleansing, validation, deduplication, error handling, and enrichment logic • Manage data migrations, schema mapping, and data integration across cloud and on-premise systems • Apply secure data handling, encryption, and IL5-compliant data flow controls • Perform root cause analysis for data pipeline failures, bottlenecks, and data quality issues • Collaborate with the analytics team to structure data models and optimize datasets for analysis • Maintain metadata, data dictionaries, and documentation supporting data governance activities • Support DevSecOps workflows with automated data processes and version-controlled transformations • Monitor pipeline performance, storage utilization, and processing efficiency • Coordinate with cybersecurity teams on audit trails, logging, and compliance with RMF data-related controls • Support development and maintenance of dashboards and analytics environments with curated datasets

🎯 Requirements

• Must hold an active Top Secret clearance, supported by a Tier 5 background investigation • Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field • Minimum 5 years of experience in ETL engineering, data integration, or data engineering • Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and data ingestion workflows • Experience performing data cleansing, validation, transformation, and quality assurance • Experience working in secure federal or DoD environments, or similar high-security data settings • Experience troubleshooting ETL failures, performance issues, and schema mismatches • Proficiency with ETL platforms, scripting languages, and data pipeline frameworks (Python, SQL, ETL tools, etc.) • Strong SQL skills including complex queries, joins, aggregates, and transformations • Knowledge of cloud-based data pipelines and storage solutions (AWS preferred) • Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and secure data handling practices • Familiarity with RMF, IL5 data security requirements, and audit log standards • Required CompTIA Security+ certification • Strong analytical and data problem solving abilities • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy • Ability to design efficient, scalable data workflows • Clear communication skills for collaborating with analytics, development, and cybersecurity teams • Ability to manage multiple pipelines and priorities in a fast-paced mission environment
