📋 Description

• Direct and interpret standards and rules applicable to DEKRA Certification, Inc. • Continually disseminate standards information and provide ongoing staff and auditor training • Coordinate organizational activities to optimize efficiency and financial performance • Lead safety and health accountability, communication, oversight, performance monitoring, incident management, and corrective actions • Provide leadership, direction, and performance oversight for internal employees and external contractors • Conduct workforce planning, coaching, development, resource allocation, and alignment with business and technical objectives • Serve as lead auditor for AS9100, ISO 9001, and other standards • Act as designated Certification Official for accredited and unaccredited standards • Maintain and extend accreditations and recognitions in relevant market segments • Develop market-specific presentations and collaborate with Marketing and Sales to acquire new clients • Implement DEKRA technical certification rules in cooperation with the Aerospace Program Manager • Implement accreditation requirements, including auditor commissioning and audit-record review • Create, adapt, and update sector-specific processes, procedures, and work instructions • Manage updates and distribution of clear audit procedures • Determine auditor and office-staff competencies and conduct onboarding knowledge, qualification, and competence assessments • Deliver initial and recurring training on audit procedures, certification industry knowledge, and technical conformity updates • Assess, enforce, and update auditor qualifications and conformity with additional requirements • Determine SME roles and responsibilities and verify completion • Facilitate SME and auditor selection for impartiality • Create, manage, and follow a single internal audit program • Conduct quarterly Management Reviews for the ANAB Accreditation-related program • Manage internal and external audit findings, follow-up, and reporting to top management • Maintain and regularly update the DEKRA Management Systems Manual • Attend external office audits and selected client-site witness audits • Record and track external findings in the Action Log • Draft, facilitate discussion of, and finalize responses to external findings • Ensure corrective changes to the DCI system are promptly and completely implemented

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent; or four to ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of three years of quality management experience • Experience supervising staff or teams • Hands-on experience establishing, auditing, leading, and maintaining an ISO/AS quality system • Technical knowledge for the assigned unit • Experience leading and representing the organization during external notified body audits • Ability to assist in accreditation program harmonization • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills • Ability to work individually or in project teams • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills while handling multiple projects and delivering results on time • Proactive attitude and excellent organizational skills • Ability to work autonomously • Ability to travel domestically up to 40–50% of the time, including overnight stays; occasional overseas travel may be required • Availability for communications in any time zone may be necessary • Ability to lead teams and display a high level of professionalism • Ability to work in varied client locations, environments, and conditions • Ability to work various shifts according to client activities • Ability to withstand extensive, difficult travel and long periods of driving • Ability to move and work with full range of motion • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. of luggage • Ability to perform extended periods of computer-based work and standing • Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available • Relocation is not available
