• Update and maintain provider file databases with submitted documentation • Prepare incoming change-request documents from dentists and dental offices for credentialing and contract processing • Request missing documentation as needed • Answer and assist with incoming calls and voice messages • Provide customer service to internal and external callers • Monitor inboxes and distribute documents appropriately • Assist the Provider Relations team with projects, reports, and related functions • Intake and review returned W9 and 1099 forms, verify office information, and forward documents to appropriate personnel • Maintain quality and quantity standards • Create and maintain electronic records of provider information, credentialing documentation, network status, contracts, license and certification expirations, filed fees, and contact updates • Identify and promptly update provider demographic corrections • Maintain the credentialing process for network dentists according to MA, Medicare, and DDPA standards • Enter initial contracts and verify all required documentation and provider and office information before entry • Verify the flow of updated information • Prepare and send correspondence regarding network status, compliance requirements, dentist terminations, and welcome letters • Respond to dental office inquiries regarding provider contracts, credentialing, and network participation
• High school diploma or equivalent • 1–3 years of related experience, including clinical dental office experience and/or dental insurance/claims experience and customer service • Strong data entry skills • Superior customer service and communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF/Adobe • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work independently • Consistently meet quality and quantity performance standards • Obtain appropriate documentation in a timely manner for contract preparation and credentialing • Submit credentialing instances to appropriate personnel • Accurately update provider information, including BODEX, General Anesthesia, DEA, Malpractice Insurance, Credentialing, and Provider profile • Assist with assigned projects and meet deadlines • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
