📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a small team of developers • Provide guidance, code reviews, and support to ensure high-quality, well-documented code • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable software applications using Python or JavaScript • Focus on event-driven architectures • Champion coding standards, best practices, and deployment processes • Improve code quality, security posture, and development efficiency • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines • Contribute to cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services • Collaborate with Marketing and other non-IT business partners to translate needs into technical requirements • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Partner with vendors to optimize platform utilization and advocate for required services and outcomes • Collaborate with and help manage teams in overseas locations • Anticipate potential problems and proactively implement solutions • Travel required: 0–5%

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience • At least 3 years leading small development teams • Strong proficiency in Python or JavaScript; experience with both highly desirable • Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines on GCP or AWS • Experience working with and managing overseas teams • Experience collaborating with Marketing and other non-IT business partners • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills • Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive issue resolution • Proficiency in a JIRA-centric workflow • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 8–12 years related experience, or Master’s degree and 5–7 years equivalent industry experience, or PhD and 2–4 years of experience • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
