📋 Description

• Support the AF Civil Engineering section of the AFLCMC BES organization • Provide full-spectrum Systems Engineering and Capability Delivery Team (CDT) services • Plan, design, test, update, document, implement, develop, and sustain/field CE automated systems • Review and update logical and physical architectures • Review and update System Architecture Concept of Operations (CONOPS) • Review and provide feedback on program technical documentation, including delivered CDRLs • Review and update the program System Engineering Plan and Tailoring Worksheets per BCAC and BPD guidance • Validate development, test, and production environments against agreed parameters • Create detailed network diagrams and flow charts using Microsoft Office tools • Support PMs and Lead Engineers in validating and updating MICT • Support validation and updating of the BES Operation Baseline Database (BOB-DB) • Troubleshoot technically with support vendors and service providers, including DISA and AWS • Submit documentation to establish AF EPL record numbers for COTS software • Provide certification progress updates to AFNIC • Monitor and track AF EPL record numbers and certification activities • Maintain certification status through dashboards, spreadsheets, or other approved formats • Track hardware and software expiration/end-of-life dates • Test COTS software installation and execution in virtual environments using AFNIC processes and tools • Analyze test results, identify potential vulnerabilities, and document vendors’ use of open-source software • Collaborate with vendors and AFNIC to validate and mitigate vulnerabilities, test patches, and document results • Monitor certified COTS software for newly identified vulnerabilities and implement mitigation actions • Assist with COTS software distribution to users • Support management and oversight of DevSecOps pipeline processes • Perform other responsibilities as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Must have a Secret clearance or ability to obtain • Possess expertise in JAVA and SQL • 3 to 15 years of experience • MA/MS degree • Performs all functional duties independently
