📋 Description

• Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders to understand role requirements, technical stacks, team dynamics, and candidate profiles • Conduct total addressable market research to size talent pools and inform hiring feasibility and timelines • Develop job mapping strategies by analyzing competitors and relevant technical stacks • Build and execute customized sourcing strategies using boolean search, x-ray techniques, GitHub sourcing, and competitive intelligence • Identify and engage technical talent and partner with recruiters and technical leaders to optimize teams • Craft personalized outreach campaigns for passive senior, staff-level, and leadership engineering candidates • Own candidate experience from initial outreach through recruiter handoff • Represent Discord at company events, technical conferences, meetups, and industry events • Maintain recruiting-system data hygiene and pipeline health metrics • Use sourcing data to optimize approaches and demonstrate ROI

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruitment, preferably in a high-growth tech company environment, on job profiles such as distributed systems and product engineering • Demonstrated success hiring senior, staff, principal-level engineers, and engineering managers in competitive, constrained talent markets • Strong technical aptitude to understand complex engineering roles, evaluate technical qualifications, and translate technical requirements into sourcing signals and candidate evaluation criteria • Expert-level proficiency with boolean search techniques and advanced sourcing methods, including x-ray searches, GitHub/repository mining, conference/publication tracking, and creative talent identification strategies • Proficiency with SeekOut, Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Greenhouse, and AI tooling • Expertise in market mapping and talent pool analysis • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills • Strong pipeline management capabilities across multiple requisitions • Proven track record sourcing developers, full-stack engineers, and feature development candidates • Ability to track, analyze, and report sourcing metrics and translate insights into strategy adjustments • US-based work authorization/location requirement
