📋 Description

• Lead and grow a cross-functional team of engineers, architects, and data professionals • Partner with business units to identify data platform requirements and translate them into platform capabilities • Own platform SLAs, uptime, cost management, and quality standards • Drive adoption of platform best practices across data engineering, governance, and DevOps • Oversee vendor relationships, licensing, and cloud provider partnerships across AWS, Azure, and GCP • Ensure platform compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA • Champion a culture of data democratization and self-service analytics • Provide technical leadership and engineering execution for platform initiatives • Drive operational excellence, platform adoption, and continuous modernization of the enterprise data ecosystem • Align platform capabilities with enterprise data strategy

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in data engineering, architecture, or platform leadership roles • 5+ years in a director or senior leadership position managing large technical teams • Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data platforms, including Databricks, Snowflake, Delta Lake, and Apache Iceberg • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure including AWS, Azure, or GCP, and the modern data stack • Experience with data governance frameworks, data mesh, and data product thinking • Executive communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders • MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred • Experience with budget management and P&L ownership • Familiarity with AI/ML platform enablement and MLOps • Certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP Data Architect or Databricks Platform Architect
