📋 Description

• Own and evolve cloud infrastructure across a multi-account organization, including account boundaries, governance policies, cross-account access, and cost/security governance • Extend and maintain the Infrastructure-as-Code repository with reviewed, tested, and version-controlled changes • Own and improve CI/CD pipelines for faster, safer, and more automated application deployments • Own containerization strategy and container orchestration, including image standards, dependency security, and daily operations • Maintain and improve consistent, reproducible developer environments • Lead technical work to elevate HIPAA and SOC 2 Type II compliance and readiness for StateRAMP/FedRAMP • Lead infrastructure security work including secrets management, network security, vulnerability management, and incident response readiness • Partner with engineering leadership on platform strategy and formalizing infrastructure practices • Proactively identify and resolve cost, security, reliability, and audit-readiness risks • Set engineering standards, mentor teammates, and simplify processes • Own production issues and implement sustainable reliability and performance fixes

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience owning production cloud infrastructure • Hands-on experience with multi-account cloud organization structures, governance policies, and cross-account access management • Deep hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, Pulumi, or comparable tooling • Experience designing, operating, and improving production CI/CD pipelines • Strong production experience with containers and orchestration platforms such as ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes • Direct production experience operating infrastructure under HIPAA and/or SOC 2 Type II • Ability to own ambiguous, high-stakes infrastructure and security problems end-to-end with minimal supervision • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation for engineers and auditors • Ability to build tools or infrastructure patterns that improve broader engineering productivity • U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional preferred • AWS Certified Security – Specialty preferred • AWS Certified Generative AI Developer – Professional preferred • Experience in healthcare, fintech, or another highly regulated industry preferred • Experience with StateRAMP or FedRAMP preferred • Familiarity with full-stack web and mobile development frameworks • Experience with IoT or hardware-connected systems
