• Perform qualitative and quantitative data analysis to support savings measurements for cost containment initiatives • Measure actual savings for existing programs and project savings for newly proposed ideas • Gather, organize, and analyze data from internal colleagues, internal databases, and external partners • Develop and distribute established reports to internal and external stakeholders • Respond to inquiries regarding results, including investigating material changes and anomalies • Support records management and documentation of MedEcon Savings portfolio performance across prior, current, and forecasted years • Plan, implement, manage, and/or contribute to moderate- and high-complexity ad hoc projects • Participate in good standing in the Actuarial Development Program • Apply mathematics, probability, statistics, and business principles to evaluate healthcare initiatives and support financial forecasting
• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) • 4+ years of relevant actuarial experience; related experience may be considered • Must have completed 5 or more exams towards eventual attainment of the ASA designation • Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of minimum exam requirements • ASA or more exams towards eventual attainment of ASA may be considered in lieu of minimum experience requirement • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SQL • Prior healthcare-focused roles • Experience leveraging developing AI capabilities • Mastery of SQL-based data queries and data management • Experience with data visualization applications such as Power BI and Tableau • Experience creating and presenting external, client-facing materials and reports
