📋 Description

• Develop engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments associated with SCADA systems • Monitor, support, and maintain day-to-day operations of the SCADA systems • Proactively identify SCADA system issues and troubleshoot them • Document and report SCADA system issues • Perform routine maintenance of SCADA systems • Find areas of improvement in SCADA systems/business processes • Interface with various parties such as the OCC, Asset Management, O&M • Provide on call support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • Minimum of two years of related experience in engineering related field • Basic knowledge of electric grid energy management systems • Knowledge and application of principles in area of SCADA engineering • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations • Proficient with the use of personal computers and automated tools • Preferences: Engineering experience specific to industrial power systems; experience with DAQ, RTU, IED, PLC technologies; experience with DNP 3; working knowledge of energy management systems, data historian systems, Modbus, Ethernet, fiber transport, and microwave/wireless system technologies.
