📋 Description

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including reconciliations, accruals, review controls, and reporting routines • Oversee accounting for operating expenses, CapEx, fixed assets, leases, intercompany activity, payroll, and tax-related matters • Manage project accounting activities for data center development and construction projects, including CIP, capitalization, placed-in-service timing, project transfers, and disposals • Support financial reporting, U.S. GAAP compliance, technical accounting matters, audits, quarterly reviews, and significant transactions • Partner cross-functionally to align accounting results with forecasts, budgets, project activity, management reporting, and lender/investor requirements • Build scalable accounting processes, systems, automation, and controls to support business growth and a growing project portfolio • Manage, mentor, and develop accounting team members, and serve as a key deputy to the VP, Controller

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including close/reporting leadership and team management • Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and experience with complex accounting transactions • Experience with CapEx, fixed assets, debt, financing transactions, lender reporting, or capital-intensive industries preferred • Experience in Big 4 Accounting, or equivalent, and in start-up environment preferred • Data Center or Commercial Real Estate experience preferred • ERP, systems implementation, automation, or process improvement experience preferred • Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and cross-functional partnership skills
