📋 Description

• Supervise a team and foster strong client relationships • Collaborate closely with Partners in an entrepreneurial environment • Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families • Ensure timely and accurate federal, state, and local tax return delivery • Identify and resolve workflow, technical, and client-related delays • Review complex tax returns for technical accuracy and proper documentation • Serve as a primary client contact and deliver proactive tax planning insights • Monitor engagement budgets, realization, team utilization, margin risks, scope creep, and inefficiencies • Cultivate relationships with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders • Provide coaching, training, feedback, recruiting, onboarding, and performance evaluation support • Leverage tax technology, data tools, and process improvements • Participate in business development, proposals, and client relationship expansion • Stay current on tax law changes and collaborate across the firm

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required • 10+ years of progressive tax experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals • 8+ years of tax compliance, with specialization in complex technical individual and business returns • Recent Public Accounting experience • CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required • Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software preferred • Experience acquiring new clients and growing a book of business preferred • Master’s Degree in Taxation or relevant field preferred/desired
