📋 Description

• Conduct current-state spans-and-layers analysis across designated business units • Benchmark organizational structures against industry norms and Ensemble’s operating model • Identify structural inefficiencies and optimization opportunities • Build accurate, visually consistent organizational charts in approved tooling such as Lucid • Maintain a single source of truth for org charts through engagement close • Develop and pressure-test two to three future-state structural scenarios • Quantify headcount, cost, and accountability implications for each scenario • Author executive-ready decision memos and presentation decks with actionable recommendations • Conduct structured discovery sessions with business leaders • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, HR Business Partners, and operational senior leaders • Gather data, validate findings, and finalize recommendations • Flag dependencies affecting hiring plans or budget cycles • Maintain version control on structural models • Ensure analysis artifacts are audit-ready and stored according to information-security standards • Support a targeted, temporary organizational effectiveness initiative through completion of defined deliverables

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field required • 4–7 years of progressive experience in organizational design, HR consulting, organizational effectiveness, or management consulting • Demonstrated expertise in organizational reviews, org charting, spans-and-layers analysis, and multi-scenario org design recommendations • Advanced proficiency with org-charting tools such as Lucid • Ability to synthesize complex structural data into clear, executive-grade written recommendations • Experience partnering directly with Director- and VP-level business leaders and HR Business Partners • Experience in healthcare, revenue cycle, or large-scale services organizations preferred • Familiarity with Workday HCM preferred • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent organizational effectiveness certification preferred • Prior exposure to post-merger integration, operating model redesign, or large-scale restructuring programs preferred • Engagement as an independent contractor or through an approved staffing partner • Ability to work under a temporary, project-based contract engagement
