• Promote approved Esperion products on-label to targeted customers within the assigned territory • Execute Esperion sales strategies and processes within the local geography • Achieve individual territory sales goals approved by Commercial Leadership • Review performance metrics with the Regional Sales Manager to maximize sales results • Develop and maintain business relationships with key customers • Promote and educate Healthcare Providers through one-on-one meetings, virtual engagements, approved speaker programs, and other approved programs • Analyze local market trends and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use • Use sales and marketing tools and resources to achieve business objectives • Maintain knowledge of product payor coverage and deliver market access objectives • Attend local, regional, and national congresses to promote Esperion brands • Complete administrative tasks including sample inventory, call submission and reporting, expense management, and vehicle mileage reporting • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, training, and company values • Follow expense-report guidelines and adhere to the allocated territory budget • Communicate and collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Territory Managers • Monitor territory performance and maintain consistency between Sales and Marketing initiatives • Work with sales leadership and Market Access to maximize pull-through from commercial and government payers • Maintain vendor credentialing requirements to access customer locations • Report to the Regional Sales Manager
• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred degree in sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Kinesiology, Pre-med, or other STEM background) • 1–3 years of pharmaceutical or relevant sales experience, or equivalent education and experience • Experience calling on or working with Healthcare Professionals preferred but not required • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%, including overnight stays for territory business and occasional Regional and National Sales Meetings • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record meeting Esperion employment standards • Documented track record of consistent high performance in sales, academics, athletics, or similar endeavors • Desire to work in a start-up environment or successful experience operating in an entrepreneurial sales model • Ability to embrace a performance-driven and growth culture • Passion for the mission and reputation of the Company • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Ability to influence and work successfully with varied audiences, including customers, colleagues, scientific and technical leaders • Strong interpersonal and selling skills • Ability to maintain vendor credentialing requirements for entities such as VendorMate and RepTrax
