📋 Description

• Process multi-state payrolls accurately and on time • Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate payroll data processing and maintenance • Process and maintain payroll records, including new hire information, payroll changes, and fringe benefit disbursements • Provide customer service by troubleshooting and escalating payroll and timekeeping issues • Enroll newly hired hourly employees in the timekeeping system • Train timecard approvers on reviewing and approving timecards within payroll deadlines • Prepare, review, and analyze payroll reports • Conduct audits to ensure data integrity • Oversee system entries and general ledger activity related to payroll functions • Identify and implement system and process improvements • Document workflow and work procedures • Advise Finance leadership on complex payroll issues • Provide guidance regarding state and federal tax issues and calculations • Mentor and train other team members as needed • Perform other duties as assigned • Serve employees, leaders, and business partners as a trusted payroll resource • Support continuous improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline • 6+ years of experience in payroll and timekeeping or accounting and finance • Excellent verbal and written communication • Microsoft Office Suite • Intermediate Excel • ADP Payroll software • Accounting principles • Problem solving and lean methodologies • Tax principles • Confidentiality • Ability to move or lift objects up to 25 pounds • Ability to maintain a frequent (>75%) stationary position while utilizing digital displays • Frequent (>75%) fine manipulation using hands and fingers • Remote positions require a home office environment with minimum distractions
