📋 Description

• Design and build the adaptor layer between AI service engines and the enterprise service bus • Construct and handle FHIR PAS payloads • Build a synchronous service engine for real-time AI workloads, such as letter generation • Adapt the architecture of the existing asynchronous Triage engine • Build, deploy, and operate LLM-based agents on service engines • Own the process of moving agents from configuration to production • Support and maintain production Triage services through bug fixes, dependency and model upgrades, releases, and operational health management • Integrate LLM and generative AI services, including Azure OpenAI, into production business workflows • Implement CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and observability for AI services • Contribute to dashboards and alerting • Work within architecture standards and review gates • Document solutions so others can operate them • Handle clinical data, including PHI, according to security, privacy, and compliance requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent experience • 3–5+ years of software engineering experience • Strong Python skills • Experience with at least one other modern language: TypeScript, C#, Java, or Go • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices • Experience with message-driven / service-bus integration patterns • Experience integrating LLM APIs, such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, or Anthropic, into applications • Experience working in Agile development environments with code review, testing, and CI/CD • FHIR experience, especially prior-authorization workflows, PAS implementation guide, X12 278 crosswalk, or other healthcare interoperability (preferred) • Experience with agentic AI frameworks and patterns, such as pydantic-ai or LangGraph, and structured-output LLM development (preferred) • Experience with LLM observability and telemetry, including OpenTelemetry-based tracing, Logfire, or similar (preferred) • Azure cloud experience, including Azure AI services, Azure SQL, and containerized deployment (preferred) • Docker/Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code practices (preferred) • Healthcare, payer, or other regulated-domain engineering experience (preferred) • Government-issued photo ID submission and identity verification during interviews • Comprehensive background check • In-person I-9 verification • May be subject to drug screening prior to employment • High-speed internet over 10 Mbps at home
