📋 Description

• Architect and build foundational AI tooling and platforms for creating, deploying, and managing AI agents, workflows, applications, and automations • Design and build APIs, SDKs, CLI tools, and workflows that democratize AI capabilities for technical and non-technical users • Establish production-grade standards for reliability, observability, security, and operational excellence • Coach and lead cross-functional teams implementing AI-augmented processes and workflows • Create documentation, best practices, and enablement materials to accelerate AI adoption and reduce time-to-value • Build feedback loops and measurement frameworks tracking AI adoption, effectiveness, and ROI • Collaborate with Architecture, Data Engineering, Security, and other engineering functions on AI tooling deployments and maintenance • Work with external third-party vendors to assess partnership opportunities and evaluate existing solutions • Deliver reliably against roadmaps and backlogs while supporting multiple initiatives • Publish robust documentation • Work globally across time zones

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of strong engineering experience • 2+ years of hands-on experience building generative AI tooling • Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, agent frameworks, and AI orchestration platforms • Proven ability to architect and build scalable platforms, CLIs, SDKs, APIs, and other developer tools • Principal-level engineering judgment • Deep data engineering and architecture knowledge and experience • Full command of RDBMS, Spark/Flink, Event Bus (Kafka), Lucene (Elasticsearch), and Data Mesh implementation • Experience in Databricks, including observability, monitoring, security, and reliability engineering practices • Expertise documenting tools and data products for self-serve usage by non-technical users • Strong written and oral communication skills • Experience tracking concurrent projects in JIRA or other agile work management tools • Willingness to work across time zones and odd hours as necessary • Technical coaching and enablement skills • Passion for live music and events is a plus • Previous Data Engineering, BI, Analysis, and/or Full Stack Engineering experience is a plus • Full stack application development experience is a major plus
